In order to enable the prisoners to acquire a useful skill, the supervisors set up various technical training classes, such as carpentry, lanterns, baking and cooking, etc., and hired professionals to instruct and train them. These training are used to cultivate the hardworking, diligent and responsible working attitude of the trainee, and teaches them how to be professional in the society and normal workplace.
