Conforming with the policy of “One Prison, One Characteristic” by the Ministry of Justice, Yilan Prison established programs such as the An-Nung talent and skill workshop and An- Nung bakery. These are set to develop traditional techniques and food production such as handmade cookies, scented soaps, handcraft candles, paper clays, and decorative lanterns. Regarding practical techniques, Yilan Prison also set up many computer software application classes, carpentry courses and electrician training, etc. The products made by our trainees have been on display and sold to the public, and the efforts are highly appreciated.
